Sowing the Seeds of Justice Opening Event!
Join us for an entertaining and informative evening to kick off our fundraiser events! We’ll have a quick orientation to the events, tools, and SWAG box and you’ll get to meet the UURISE team. There will be fun activities and we’ll wrap up with an informal conversation about the current state of immigration with a particular eye to how we can all have a positive impact.

Loteria Game Night
A traditional game of chance, Lotería—the Spanish word for lottery—is similar to, but much more dynamic than BINGO. Illustrated cards depicting the Mexican aesthetic are used instead of letters and numbers. There are multiple ways to “win”, and all winners will receive a sweet treat.
All materials for painting and loteria are included in your SWAG (Stuff We All Get) Box when you register before 11/10/22!

Create Justice Art with Sandra
Socialize, paint and have fun as you’re visually guided through each step of the painting! You will recreate a selected portion of our event artwork with Sandra guiding you! You are always welcome to switch up colors, and subject, and to get as creative as you like!
