One way that this congregation participates in outreach and social justice work is to designate one Sunday of each month as a Generosity or Social Justice Offering Sunday, or to offer a plate share. They donate the proceeds of the offering to an agency or project that serves the community or the cause of social justice. UURISE will be a grateful recipient on this Sunday. Thank you for your commitment to our mission! Services at 9am and 11am.

UURISE trains volunteers, interns, and staff of Women's Resource Center to best assist immigrants who have been victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. Women's Resource Center is a local nonprofit that provides supportive services, counseling, shelter and education to North San Diego County women, children and men involved in or threatened by domestic violence or sexual assault.

LIFE - Learning is For Everyone -  is a program of Mira Costa College and is designed especially for the seniors in North San Diego County. LIFE offers discussion groups and guest speakers, and is a wonderful way to stay engaged through learning!
